Hi everyone. How is your October going? Ours is off to a great Green start filled with changes and movement in many directions. Yes, at the moment Mercury is in Retrograde IN LIBRA…but that's going to end in about three weeks. For all of you Libras, including myself we need to be patient with our computers and all things dealing with communication. Just relax and go with the flow, and remember "balance" is the key word for us.

Speaking of balance, this month's colour is Green. Although it truly is the colour of the House of Libra as each astrological sign has it's particular colour or colours, I am not doing colours by the months, rather, what the consciousness is calling for within local and global changes. Green is in fact the colour of the Openness and Change. Green is Heart energy, and where we become aware of our desire to share our lives with others in Harmony. Green is the energy of Love. Here are some great questions about our relationship and connection to Green.

Why would October be considered a Green month or why would you say October can be symbolized by Green? This year for most of us has presented some very deep challenges in all forms, including how we are making a living. Green is one of the colours of money…and many are now questioning where it is coming from regarding our economy at the moment. The positive of all of this is, we are being shifted onto higher paths moving into directions, which resonate with our Hearts desires. Change can mean anything from a job, a personal relationship, where we live, our friends, how we feel inside, and even how we look on the outside. Green is where we look deep inside of ourselves, our Heart, to find the truth of who we are and what really makes us happy.

What are the positive aspects of Green that I can look forward to in October? One of the most beautiful energies weaving itself through our world globally is the project "Go Green". This is the return of humanity to its natural beginnings, as we are stewards of Mother Earth. The link between humanity and the diseases we are facing is slowly being healed through our conscious awakening of learning to Love our planet again. As we make conscious choices to Love and nurture ourselves, the more Love we will bring to everything around us. As we open our Hearts to what needs to be done to help Mother Earth heal, the more we will heal. How?

When we plant seeds in our soil, we eat what comes from those seeds including all things being put into the soil. Now we are realizing pesticides cannot be apart of this, as they become apart of us, eventually creating illness. Cows and other farm animals have also been given external chemicals as well as been allowed to graze on chemically induced soil. When we ingest the meat, we too, become saturated with what they've consumed. Again, here's the message to CHANGE our ways of how we've been living for many years unconsciously. In this case, Green also speaks of Compassion, not only to our selves but towards all sentient beings.

Green is the "awakening" of our Hearts. Once we awaken, we become aware of others around us, and we desire to live with and be loved by others in complete harmony. Here, the Green frequency opens our Hearts to the possibilities of having relationships of all types.

Why is it important to go through the Green process? Green is about going through an internal death…dying from an old way of living a life in illusion, shedding all the untruths we've carried all of our lives. This could mean an untruth of the perception of ourselves, what we "think" we are supposed to be doing in this life, irrational fears imbedded into our heads when we were children, words that damaged our self-esteem. What are the illusions that we need to let die and let go of, and what is the truth?

Once we go through this death, and it can be uncomfortable, we have room to grow and expand in ways we never could before. We must remove the old to allow the new to blossom. The leaf on a tree will turn Green before it turns Brown…thus; it begins a new cycle after its death. Through making higher choices, we can continuously be reborn into something greater than before. We can Love more, feel more compassion for ourselves and others, receive with openness, feel more balanced in our lives, discover the ability to transcend the limitations of life, re-connect into nature, Mother Earth and all of her beautiful creatures, and come alive with a new beginning of Love within ourselves.
