Hi Everyone! Welcome to May, the Month of the beautiful rich colour of Gold! The first day of May brought in Beltane (La’ Bealtaine) for the Celts meaning “May Day”.

The Beltane Fires rise and ask all to jump over them to purify, and cleanse the spirit, and to let go of all sacrifices attached to the old so the new has a place to be birthed. This is a time to celebrate the passing of Winter and embrace the gloriousness of Spring. Spring is about birth and newness, thus Beltane celebrates the fertility of the Earth while the Goddess dances in ecstasy with her young Horned God. The flowers containing all colours of the rainbow make the crowns worn on the heads of the Gods (May Kings) and Goddesses (May Queens) as they traditionally dance around the Maypole in celebration of life. As everyone dances, they are weaving their threads of Gold from the Heart containing joy, silliness, laughter, desire, sensuality, ecstasy and delight! They dance around the ring of the Maypole representing “Unity” becoming “whole”, feeling connected to each other and to nature.

Gold is about “Holiness” of the soul and feeling “whole” inside. Symbolism of Gold can be found in nature, poems, enchanting faerie tales, it’s everywhere!

For instance, most of us have read the faerie tale about the Goose who laid the Golden Egg. The moral of the story wove in the emptiness of greed, and showed the importance of Loving those around us as they are, and to accept their Love as gifts to us, which are “treasures” of the soul. Then we have the Wise Old Owl, the Golden wedding ring symbolizing unity and that which is eternal, and the Lion representing strength and reverence to its very core.

Gold brings into consciousness lessons of finding true wisdom, abundance and sharing with others through our Hearts of Gold. It can bring in bravery and remind us to own our personal power, should we drink its energies in.

Gold then becomes the search for the Holy Grail, for our Golden “light” internally. The Holy Grail represents that which is attained with great difficulty, thus bringing about inner and spiritual wisdom through the journey to become enlightened.

This is what I refer to as “Alchemy of the Soul”. So, you ask what is alchemy? Well, in simple terms, external alchemy would be blending water and dirt to make mud. When I was little I stepped on a bee and got stung. My mom told me to put the hose in the dirt, make mud and stick it to the bottom of my foot where the stinger was. Mud pulls toxins, and that’s exactly what happened. The stinger came out and the swelling went down in my foot. I couldn’t have done this with just water, nor just dirt. So, alchemy is the blending of substances to create something more powerful combined, than the single substances would be on their own.

Internal alchemy as well as external alchemy needs three vital things to be in place to be successful:

1) the substance to be transformed
2) the container to hold the transformation
3) the energy which fuels and solidifies the transformation.

In the case of internal alchemy they would reflect 1) ourselves as the substance to be transformed 2) our body and mind and spirit as the container 3) an outsource of energies such as Auracle’s Colours, herbs, even the Sun to bring about the transformation.

Seven Steps of Transformation

Internal alchemy requires seven steps the soul must take to transform itself to a higher level of consciousness. Each step must be completed before taking the next as if we were in school taking one level at a time. It is in a sense an “initiation” process. The number seven itself is linked into “alchemy” and “magick”. We also have seven chakras or energy centers to which we experience and process our journey into the state of enlightenment.

An example would be during the stages of transformation we will begin in the first chakra (sexual organs/root/Red) – We would experience the disintegration of negative energies through fire, causing cycles of sacrifice and suffering. In other words going to root of our distortions to find where the “Love” was lost, possibly regarding the physical mother or spiritual father, spiritual father meaning one who has passed, or possibly Christ (having to reconcile with ones thought process of religion). Once the burning of all untruths in this energetic field take place, the Phoenix within the self can rise from its ashes with an awakening to its higher self with new life force.

Moving up into the second or Sacral chakra two inches below the belly button (Orange) – We would experience decomposition of unhealthy matter, cleansing of the cells (possibly a dietary cleanse), changing of patterns, detachment from that which keeps one in an energetic and/or physical prison, moving into a place of re-birth of oneself with a new level of creation emerging.

The third chakra Solar Plexus (Yellow) – This would call for Separation, purging of the negative ego, re-alignment with one’s individuality, stepping into ones sovereignty…and so on.

I think you may get the picture now. This will continue through each chakra until the process has completed itself at the Crown, where we align with Divine Source, bring in higher thoughts, transmute our feelings of victimization by understanding the law of the universe IS change, bringing in healing and service to others, mastery of the mental body, realize our reason for living.

According to the Ancient Egyptians, it is the Ka (the soul/spirit) that has a choice as to how it will fulfill its destiny. All humans are born with a purpose and gifts to procure that purpose. It is up to us whether we walk that path or not.

The path we choose is paved by our conscious thoughts, which are influenced by external forces. If a low road is chosen, there will be constant suffering in life as in death. To choose a higher road will help the soul accelerate moving easily into other worlds.

Should we complete this journey, we can create Gold of ourselves by “lightening” up the heavier base metals in our being, removing all stuck energies keeping us dense and in the “shadow”. This means, making conscious decisions to let go of things that we clearly know are not for our higher benefit.

The more we make conscious decisions by tuning into our Hearts of Gold and the messages for our higher well-being, the more Gold we fill ourselves with as we are showing ourselves more Love, integrity, and truly practicing being conscious of right and wrong. Self-Love, self-esteem, and self-worth will reveal themselves one by one as we learn to assimilate life, make peace with our deepest fears and become acquainted with our inner wisdom.

The physical attributes of Gold are the skin, stomach, the large intestine, spine, kidneys, nerves and pancreas.

When we are connected to our Golden Thread, the energies held in the above physical elements present themselves as confidence, reverence, self-Love, self-esteem, self-worth, joy, strength, courage (what the cowardly Lion asked for in the Wizard of Oz), inner and spiritual wisdom, warmth, mental alertness, clarity, will power, integrity and humor. We are generous with others around us, happily sharing our abundance of life and material wealth, whatever that may be to us.

If we are not connected to our Golden Thread we feel lack of self-esteem, self-Love, self-worth, we feel inferior, anxiety, fear, nervous, self-righteous, judgmental, cowardly, indecisive, bitterness and disgust for self. These energies are portrayed in life through greed, deception, the “thief” meaning one who steels one’s own life force by not being honorable or having integrity, thus falling off the path, and one who “literally” steels from others however these situations may present themselves.

Then, ask yourself, “What is your path to the Oneness of it all? How can you build the Golden Citadel around your being fortifying your internal structure?

This is how. Take on step at a time each day. Be conscious of your actions without judgment, for you really are from Love. Understand that you’ve been carrying these untruths in your Heart for many years making you feel insecure and unworthy, yet with the conscious shifts happening to many collectively, it is possible to shift your thoughts in seconds. No more do we have to wait (weight) to lighten up and shift. All we need to do is listen to the messages of our Hearts of Gold/God/Goddess - just “listen” and you will hear what you need to do.

Feel the energy of your Heart and body when you’re about to engage in something you KNOW will not benefit your higher purpose. Those are messages of your guides and your higher self. Should you follow the wisdom, you will feel “lighter”. Every day we need to listen a little more, and when we do our Golden Light will continue to fill our beings up with Love, the Love we’ve agreed to bring into ourselves after many years of not feeling it from outside of ourselves. Gold is Self-Mastery, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is why many angels and masters have Gold halos over their heads. We too, are enchanting beings of “light”, and have been given gifts to create Gold of ourselves.

Give yourself the Gift of Gold. Go on a treasure hunt, taking your own journey into the Central Sun and into the Void itself. Find yourself through Loving and clearing each level. Then, experience the “Royalty Of Your Soul”.

Golden Reflections

The sunset. Mesmerizing in its tranquility of splendid colours. Taking a moment to focus your gaze on the setting sun has a deep effect of inner illumination.

When one believes that they are poor, the gold they naturally carry turns to dust and is carried away by the wind of limitations.

Pleasing yourself with false riches, brings one to the false state of happiness and contentment. Pleasing your self with Heart riches, brings one to the truest state of joy.

A golden pool of light. A golden pool of sound. A golden pool of color. Mix them together and you get a pool that reflects your truest self.

How do you blast golden light out of yourself if you don’t let any in? And how do you let golden light in if you don’t blast any out? By being conscious of your Source connection.

Greed is perfectly acceptable when wanting more Light than what you already carry.

Be brave and listen to your heart for a change.

A Balanced Golden Body & Mind

I like to observe nature. I feel that the signs and symbols that Mother Nature shows us daily, really tells us how everything works together in harmony and balance. Unlike us humans, who tend to fight against the natural order of flow.

Think about how the day starts. We move from darkness into the light. As the sun rises, the darkness disappears. Everything in nature awakens to greet the day. The animal kingdom starts their daily routine. Plants open up and grow to meet the light of day.

Think about how you feel on a bright, sunny day, in comparison to how you feel on a cloudy. With the sun shining all around you, you feel warm, bright and energized. Even if you are having a bad day, I think we all can appreciate the beauty of the sunshine.

That is the power of the color Gold.

Gold is an expansive color. Just as the Sun warms the earth and ends the darkness, working with the color gold and bringing it into your body causes the body to shift to a higher vibration. Unlike waiting for the sunrise, you can use gold anytime, anywhere as a healing tool to shift your vibration. Gold is an all purpose color for healing and balancing your energy. Don’t know what color to use? Use gold.

In our daily interactions with people, we pick up on their energy, and they pick up on ours. Other people’s energy, moods, and attitudes get mixed up with ours and vice versa. Sometimes, we get scattered; we leave our energy hanging out in other places and with other people, which leaves with less of our own energy to do the things we need to do. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anyone else’s energy hanging around with me, nor do I want my energy to be scattered.

Here is a simple technique to balance your body using the power of the color gold:

Sit in any meditation posture you desire, but make sure your spine is straight. I prefer sitting in a chair, with my feet flat on the floor. Close your eyes, and relax. Take a few deep breaths. Imagine a bright golden sun above your head. Your energy follow your thoughts, so go ahead and call back all of your energy from every place you have left it – from people, places, things, your car, etc. Sometimes we have our energy hanging out in the future in anticipation of things to come, or we have left it hanging out in the past. Call all of your energy back and see it going into that bright golden sun above your head.

The burning heat and intensity of the Sun is going to neutralize that energy, making it nice and pure. Now bring that golden sun down and fill up your entire body, from your head, all the way down to your toes with that golden energy. See it filling you up and going everywhere in your body.

Now don’t just stop there, see that golden energy seeping through your pores, radiating out from you in all directions. I also like to see that golden energy pushing out any stale, negative energy or moods that I may have been holding on too, pushing them right out of my energy field.

Bend over, place your palms on the floor, and allow any excess energy to drain out of your body into the ground. When you are ready, slowly roll up and open your eyes.

You can use this simple technique anytime, anywhere when you need to shift your mood, and when you want to be a success. Enjoy!

Fooled by Gold

Gold - Revered in nature.

Gold - present in every sunrise, in sunflowers, Venus shines gold, sweet golden nectar produces honey (the only food know to man that does not spoil, Archaeologist T.M. Davies discovered 3,300-year-old jar of honey in an Egyptian tomb. To his amazement it was still edible) , every cob of corn carries that bright golden presence in between every grain, gold in every wheat sprout and gold in every grain of sand. Ancient cultures knew the power of gold, they/we were in tune with nature and the high vibrational frequency of gold was acknowledged, many cultures expressed themselves artistically through the use of gold although the higher purposes of gold were lost over time, a small part of us still remembers just how important this precious metal of precious metals was (and still is) to us.

Gold - you are the physical manifestation of the limitless divine energy carried in all of us.

Gold - the final step.

Gold - both the destination and the source, it is all we can astride for and all we can draw from simultaneously

Jesus was pure gold. He came to show and remind us that we too, can be pure gold.

Blue was the spirit of mother earth and their own, which were one and the same, red was their blood and the building block of the road they traveled to reach hunab-ku (ultimate knowledge) and gold itself represented both their source and destination.

Gold is best reached through the heart.
The ancient alchemical symbol for gold is a perfect circle with a dot in the middle, the real substance of self, the beginning and the end.

In ancient South America there was a legend of gold that attracted many Spanish explorers, they fooled themselves believing that there was a lake made of gold, and then their story turned it into a city, a city that would never be found, because it did not exist.

I happen to come from the place in which this golden legend was born. My ancestors, the Muiscas, lived in the middle of the Andes mountain chain. The real Legend has it that Bachue the Goddess and her companion descended from the golden sun in the form of golden snakes, they emerged from the Iguaque lake (50 Kilometers west of what is now Bogotá).

Bachue and her companion had to learn how to love in this world, at the same time they imparted knowledge to the people, and once they thought the people how to make homes and find food they left north to teach others their timeless knowledge.

Soon after their departure darkness fell upon the land, the dark Goddess Chia planted the emerald of destruction, ushering forth a period of darkness and destruction. This period was ruled by a ruthless tyrant, the first Cacique to have utilized black magik and deceit. Goranchacha ruled for many years and with Chia on his side his dark kingdom (the first in the Americas) flourished causing unimaginable pain and suffering for all of his subjects. This continued until one day Goranchacha saw a terrible storm made of smoke an fire approaching from the north, Goranchacha fled in fear and perished with out Chia's protection. The storm was caused by Chibchacom God of the earth, in response to the imbalance caused by Chia and Goranchacha. The storm flooded the Savannah of Bogota, cleansing the earth but still causing suffering for the Muiscas. The Muiscas pleaded and prayed to Bochica until he took pity on them and descended upon the Savannah, he created the Tequendama jump emptying the Savannah and saving the Muiscas. Bochica then walked among the Muiscas, teaching them agriculture, weaving, and pottery. To ensure their survival he brought them corn and music, the he went to confront Chia and banished her forever. Soon thereafter Bachue and her companion returned to the Iguaque lake, and seeing that everything was flourishing for their people, they returned to the lake and took their snake shape ascending to the sun, promising that one day they would come back.

For years hence the Muiscas honored and remembered Bachue and Bochica, their main ritual in the Iguque lake was to cover their Cacique (lord, pharaoh, chief) in gold-dust so that he/she could mimic the arrival/return of their divine benefactors, this is where the el Dorado legend was born, catching wind of this, the Spanish conquistadors were convinced that an incredible amount of gold had been accumulated over centuries of worship and that if they found it they would be richer than the queen.

After the “conquering” of the Americas the Spanish empire gained unimaginable riches from the new gold. They built an armada and called their country “the empire in which the sun never sets” but after years of wars, and killing Spain went back to its own borders, achieving next to little with all of their precious gold.

This shines light in gold's natural effect on our being; we covet gold, we yearn for gold but when our soul is disconnected from divine source all we are left with is the physical realm and the physical manifestations of the divine.

So now here we are, all living in the same earth, interacting with one another like we've never done before, so let us remember the golden thread that weaves our existence, the golden thread that sustains us, the golden thread that shines out of every soul, the golden thread that connects us to the divine.

Since most people have issues with Gold, I recommend working with the Gold Bottle with a flashlight on the Heart or Stomach to begin with. Lie down, close your eyes, and place the Bottles (and other colours if you have them) on your body, wherever they feel best. The subtle energies (your guides) will come in to saturate and expand the frequencies of Love, balancing and bringing harmony back into your entire being.
