The Turquoise ray brings in many levels of self expression beyond verbal such as writing, dancing, music, and painting – things not necessarily requiring the “spoken word”. It is the ray which works through our “feelings” and help us to merge our intellect with spirit, thus allowing creation to occur on many levels.
Turquoise is also the ray of the “messenger”. The messages come through from spirit into ourselves and we choose to bring them into the world through whatever artistic models, which express us best.
The location in our physical bodies is the upper right side of the Heart, where the lung sits. This is called the fourth and a half chakra, or the Ananda-Khanda center. It is also known as the “Crystalline Heart”, or the Heart which is present as one ventures into the Hermits cave to reflect on ones life – ALONE. It is where the internal waters flow within us, and when we are most able to hear the voice of our “inner teacher”. The Turquoise ray teaches us to “go with the flow”.
When you think of Turquoise, what comes to mind? Most think of the ocean, dolphins and whales, crystals, the Water Bearer for the Age of Aquarius. Native American Indians wear Turquoise since it is known for its spiritually protective energies.
People who resonate with this ray most are usually teachers, artists, astronomers and astrologers with deep connections to the stars, may have a gift with foreign languages, possess deep knowledge of crystals, are connected into ancient lands which used to be surrounded by water, such as Atlantis, Lemuria and MU, have a natural understanding for higher technologies, and may be involved in mass media.
Those who have a hard time with Turquoise probably experienced a broken Heart that never healed, either as a child in this life or in other incarnations, especially relating to Love.
Illnesses associated with the lack of Turquoise in the aura are immune disorders, issues with the thymus gland, bronchitis, asthma – in general all breathing problems as things “weigh heavy” on the Heart/chest area (bricks on the chest) making it difficult in this life to “breathe”, or fearful of expressing ones truth without fearing the consequences. Even speech impediments are common when this ray is missing from the energy field and cellular tissues.
When fluids build up in the lungs, this is a reflection of the internal tears, or the souls crying for itself out of grief, sadness and/or guilt. The grief or sadness may be do to a broken Heart which I mentioned above possibly having to do with betrayel, yet the guilt may stem from one continuing to betray him/herself by doing unkind and unloving things to the body, mind and spirit.
In my experience, the addiction chosen by most to cover pain of the Heart and lung is smoking. The sound of the lung in pain is the cough.
To “lighten” things up here, Turquoise is also the ray we call upon for spiritual protection from the Archangelic realms. Call them in by name, so they may guard you while you take your internal journey, so you may come out of the “cave” renewed and filled with higher creative energies. Now would be a wonderful time since we’ve come through the Violet (shifting of old patterns and thought forms) to revisit what is still lingering in your life that you would like to let go of. If smoking is on your list, now would be a BRILLIANT time to honour yourself, clearing the “passageways” of your lungs to make room for magickal new creative thoughts and ideas, which will emerge like a never ending waterfall flowing into the ocean.
Coral, being the opposite of Turquoise was written about in the December Newsletter. I spoke about its significance of sacred space and the importance of being involved in one’s community.
Turquoise on the other hand means the World, Global, One Mind. The “Axis” of Turquoise/Coral is “Global Community”.
An example of Global Community is the “worldwide web”. The web connects us into cultures all over the world, allowing us to meet people we could never have met which was before this time, not a possibility. We now have the ability to step into the shoes of others, to empathize with them – and to bring them hope, globally. Through discoveries made throughout the world, we are able to bring higher technologies back here into the United States, and further and more directly to where we live to help our communities. One of the greatest things we are being taught from other countries is how to “farm” again, and do it naturally without disturbing Mother Earth.
As technology continues to advance, we must remember our responsibilities in this world to ourselves, each other and Mother Earth. Our collective purpose in this world right now is to unite as ONE, letting go of the negative ego so the greater whole may be served. Remember the little Coral animals within the reefs make up the greater whole by working together as ONE.
