  Hi everyone and welcome to the fabulous February Newsletter!!! The transition from Clear to Violet is reflected in our new President, new changes and new “thought forms” needed to make such changes as never before in history. When a consciousness of beings have a completely different mind set and it happens simultaneously, the Violet energy is at work.
Although February is thought of as the month with Hearts of Pink or Red for Valentines Day, the Clear to Violet reveals a new way of healing “of the Heart” taking place in this world through our very “thoughts” i.e. the changing over of all patterns of past and how we’ve perceived them in illusion. It also speaks of getting “out of the head” and into the Heart to FEEL instead of think. Isn’t that what the Heart is for anyway? The Heart doesn’t think, nor was it ever designed to.
 The Violet represents Thought/Cosmic Energy. Its physical attributes are associated with the skull, and pineal gland or “seat of the soul”. It is a higher frequency in the colour spectrum linked to the crown chakra, which allows us to receive messages from spirit. The Violet Flame as it’s also known as, allegedly transmutes energies allowing the soul to burn off karmic ties that bind in to the emotional grid or physical realities. It is a tool, which helps to release karma, raise our frequencies, bring in conscious awareness, shift our DNA, and accelerate our spiritual growth.
By embracing the expansion and emergence of the Universal Mind within our own minds we are shown immediately that life is limitless and there are no boundaries other than what we set upon ourselves.
Those attracted to this beautiful ray might experience deep levels of psychic awareness or intuitive abilities, may be called to service as healers, possibly write spiritual songs, books, movies, yet may also experience migraines or headaches, may need to change patterns in their life, and possibly feel victimized by a present issue. The law of the universe IS change, therefore we must always move forward, otherwise if this is not realized victimization lies within.
 As the Violet is made of the Blue of Heaven and the Red of Earth, it also speaks of the balance between Heaven and Earth– or As Above, So Below. Violet then becomes also the ray of Alchemy, where the stirrings and mysteries of the soul lie, waiting to be discovered through guidance from above, or through “spirit”, showing us our higher path.
However, we must watch the ego (Yellow) hidden within and the opposite colour of the Violet as we can not allow that to surface, tainting our truest abilities to serve humanity and align with our own spiritual nature. To illuminate Love without pride or arrogance is the ultimate of understanding our “oneness” together as beings in this world of mind/body/spirit. Separation IS an illusion.
Most of you know me and are very aware I am not religous, however there is a famous proverb from the Bible which states:
“Pride comes before disaster, arrogance before the fall”. This is indeed a truth.
Here’s another famous saying: Let Go, Let God. Simply put.
 Violet is also associated with Magick, Merlin the Magician, (Harry Potter for the younger babies) and disappearing or becoming invisible. For those of you familiar with the Masters, on this ray we work with Saint Germain and the Violet Flame of Transmutation, which I mentioned earlier. St. Germain was born in 1561, was a master swordsman, violinist, and was mastered in all European languages. He often wrote poems as well as painted. St. Germain was a personal friend to many famous philosophers as well as associated with many Heads of State. It was said he transmuted lower based metals into Gold. This might explain why he was so wealthy, but no one ever “knew” how he acquired such wealth. St. Germain was known amongst the Europeans as “the man who never dies and knows everything”, and “the Immortal German Alchemist”. St. Germain continues to reveal himself through us when we write, paint, sing, heal and serve humanity.

Bill Waterson once said, “I won’t eat any cereal that doesn’t turn my milk purple”. Although said in jest, there may be something more to this commentary on the proliferation of artificial colorants in America’s food stock.
Perhaps the cartoonist and creator of the Calvin and Hobbs series unconsciously sensed the value in eating food of the violet persuasion.
Violet hued foods contain high amounts of the following:
*Anti-cancer properties - cancer is a manifestation of genetic mutation and violet facilitates DNA shifts.
*Anti-oxidants - there are over 13,000 antioxidants in one cup of blueberries. Anti-oxidants assist in keeping our skin youthful, our muscles from deteriorating and our brain tissue healthy. As violet has to do with alchemy, the end result of which is immortality, it makes perfect sense that violet foods would indeed assist us in staying youthful in mind and body.
*Anthocyanin - this gives food a violet pigment. It is a specific type of antioxidant and can help reduce the risk of cancer, help improve memory and assist with healthy aging.
*Flavinoids - one of the most powerful phytochemicals. Flavonoids are beneficial to the cardiovascular system, can lower your risk of heart disease, and physically reinforces the strength of your heart. When in alignment, the frequency of violet assists us on an energetic level heal old patterns of thought that have caused us to bypass the wisdom in our hearts.
*Iodine - Kelp products such as dulse are associated with the violet ray as they contain high amounts of Iodine, a substance that reportedly supports the pineal gland, opening us up to receive higher thought and creative channeling.
 There are many foods that you can easily add to your diet to up your violet intake. Violet foods include amaranth, eggplant, dulse, kelp, blueberries, blackberries, purple grapes, raisins, passion fruit plums, mission figs, prunes, mulberry, purple cabbage, purple onions, purple asparagus, purple potatoes (delicious & from Peru), and elderberry. Herbs associated with violet include basil, heather, lavender, marjoram, mints, passionflower, rosemary, thyme and sage. Of course, you can always take a tip from Bill Waterson and make yourself a bowl of purple fruit loops.
Pie Crust:
1 1/4 Cup Organic Raw Almonds (Soaked for at least 8 hours)
6 Organic Prunes or Dates
1 Tbsp Water
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
Dash of lavender if available
Pie Filling:
2 Cups Organic Raw Cashews
2 Cups Fresh Organic Blueberries
2 Tablespoons Raw Agave Nectar
2 Tablespoons of Raw Cacao Powder
Instructions: Put all piecrust ingredients into a food processor or Vitamix and blend until it forms a ball of moldable paste. Depending on the quality and freshness of prunes or dates you may need to add more until the mixture holds its shape. Press into a pie dish and dehydrate for 4-6 hours. Put all pie filling ingredients into your blender and blend. Put pie filling into piecrust once the crust has finished dehydrating. Place the pie in the freezer for one hour. You can keep it in the freezer for a while, just make sure that if you don’t serve it within the hour, that you take it out and let it warm up for 30-45 minutes before serving. An alternative to freezing the pie to put about 2 to 4 Tbsp of psyllium husk in the filling mixture so it congeals and holds its shape.

I’m at a standstill. It seems that mostly everything that has brought joy and meaning to my life is not grabbing my attention right now. With painting, the motivation to pick up the brush is wiped away by the thought of the final painting never coming out as I want it to. Photography – I enjoy taking photos of people, places, objects, etc., but I put such a high expectation on how I want them to come out that it blocks my interest in wanting to pick up the camera. Creative design work – I am always full of ideas on how to help others achieve success with their business, but to help these folks implement these great ideas through my work seems unrealistic because the output may not come close to matching what I intellectually had designed. Even writing this article for this awesome light-filled newsletter seems easy, but my expectation of delivering well-written verse is high as well.
(White flag thrown in) As I just wrote that, the message is clearly loud – I have very high expectations of everything I create and it’s affecting my joy in connecting whole-heartedly with the projects I take on, whether it’s a photography shoot, painting, a healing session, designing a flyer, or writing a simple article. I’ve put so much pressure on myself over a lifetime to perform all to this incredible level of highest perfection that I’m stuck – I’m at a standstill.
It is amazing that I couldn’t connect all of these creative blocks to the one word of “perfectionism”. I’ve tricked myself quite well over the years and hid this word from my own consciousness. How? Several ways: About being carefree and relaxed about situations. About carrying the creed that whatever happens, happens - it was meant to be. I welcome mistakes as well – or so I say. I don’t make my bed some mornings. My car gets washed in a rainstorm. If my clothes are a little wrinkled, that’s ok. They’ll iron out as I wear them.
 These free-spirited statements have hidden this disease of my perfectionism. Dis-ease? Yes, because it makes me feel un-ease-y when it’s time to work, to create, to find inner peace and love. When a new potential project comes up that makes my heart scream hurray! Let’s do it! I think, hmmm. How will I accomplish this? Maybe I shouldn’t take it on. Isn’t there a movie coming in from Netflix that I have to watch instead?
So what is the cure for my newly discovered disease? I’m hearing the whisper of Let go and let Love In. Yes. Allow Love (Source) to transmute these feelings of perfectionism into total acceptance of the outcome of the project or journey I’m taking. Love will melt away the illusion of perfectionism and replace it with the realization that it’s perfect no matter how bad my ego thinks it is. Besides, each person has his or her own ideology of perfection so each definition will be different. If I need a project (or fill in the blank) to be perfect, I’d have to uniquely replicate it 11 billion times to satisfy the perfectionism in each one of us. I’m not doing that!
Let go, Johnny, let go. Sure, sounds easy but for me the most difficult part of letting go is not knowing what will follow. It feels familiar and safe to stay stuck and hold on with white-knuckled grips to my current situation, so how would it feel to let go and advance on this path my heart has been reassuring me to take? Well, I have the choice of the pity party or the cheerleading party. I’m going for cheerleaders - they’re cuter!
So Let’s Go & Let Go:
 First – visualize the situation of which you want to let go and think of what you want the outcome to be. Like my situation - I want to let go of my perfectionism and allow for Source guidance to come through and bring me to that place where I’m living with joy and creativity.
Second –ask your Source family (God, angels, guides, and/or ____) to assist you in letting go. Just ask them to release all fears that may be present, bring in forgiveness of self, and clear away all obstacles that may be in the way of attaining the results you want. Ask them to illuminate the way with Love and nurturing.
Third – let go one finger at a time and feel their presence around you supporting you physically, emotionally and spiritually. When you release your grip on the “Letting Go” situation, feel your Source family carry you up into the next level and experience the rewards for trusting in the process. They will bring you to a place of inner awareness of what’s to come next and by letting in their Light and Love, it will illuminate all of those unseen, scary parts of the path that you were hesitant on walking. You’ll see then that these parts were no more than reflections of your Heart’s highest intentions. Nothing scary about that.
So before I make this more complicated than it is, let me break this standstilliness and put my life back in motion. Let Go and Let Love (God) in? Ok. I will do it one step at a time. And just to show you how quickly I’m allowing Love to cure me of this perfection thing, I’m including a typo in this paragraf and am leaving off the last period because, as always, this lesson may be over but a new one awaits me right around the corner of my circular room

As Violet is the ray of Magick and changing of thoughts and patterns through spiritual surrender, I would recommend using the Violet Bottle for anyone who wishes to break away from the mundane, allowing higher frequencies to penetrate the cells thereby shifting patterns resulting in a new way of living.
I also recommend using the Violet Bottle for helping to diminish fears brought by the ego bringing an illusion that one has control over one’s life, but in the negative way. The Violet helps to bring connection to Divine energies, helping to remove the feeling of separation. Thus, for those who experience migraines and headaches, this is where the pain is felt in the physical body since it is dealing with “thought”. To assist in removing the pain of a headache or migraine, I recommend laying down, close the eyes and put the Violet Bottle behind the head with a light through it to illuminate the frequency. Within 15—30 minutes the pain should be subsided or completely gone, as well, when experiencing a migraine the blindness should go away and relatively no pain should be felt at all. I know this since from experience from many years. When we feel connected to spirit, we have no fear. Instead, we feel Love and confidence, thus joy can be expressed “Magickally” from our Hearts. |
This month's contributing artist, Barbara McKell, is an Intuitive Healer and a Visionary. She combines her inner vision with her artistic expression to create art which has a profound effect on the viewer. Her influences have been; sacred geometry, spirituality, the natural elements, colours of nature and a desire to create healing art. "Using the Auracles Colours has stirred something very sacred within me and allowed my creativity to blossom. Since I brought the colours home everything has shifted and I am surrounded by colourful canvases that seem to appear out of the blue, from a source other than myself. Johnny gave me the idea of spraying the colour into my aura, onto the canvas and into my paints before I begin, which has turned out to be just magical. I used to judge my work harshly, but now I am painting for the sheer joy and pleasure of it. I Love to see how people respond to my colourful depictions of spiritual symbolism and sacred geometry. When I see how they look at them and the sense the connection they make with what is coming through each canvas, I understand how healing the paintings are. Each painting speaks a language which is decipherable only through the heart. The colours have been amazing to incorporate into my healing practice. The Colours bring in the Masters so clearly and it is a joy to paint under their guidance and loving direction."

 Well, this was an unusual change of patterns this month for the workshop as it already took place last night (02/09/2009). We did not have a chance to get the letter out before it occurred. This is the Violet Ray in motion…all along it’s been about the change in patterns of thought and behavior.
Last night, as many of you know, was the Full Moon (Lunar) Eclipse ruled by Leo. This was challenging to everyone’s ego and inner strength or YELLOW/GOLD, just like the Lion. However, everyone present last night was truly in their Heart ready to let anything happen, open to all possibilities. Funny enough, the Yellow (letting go of one’s will/cutting unhealthy cords) is opposite to the Violet (surrendering to spiritual guidance from the universal mind, higher thoughts), and the two together created the “Spiritual Connection” Axis (as opposed to feeling disconnected and depressed). The two colours, by the way when mixed, create GOLD, which is self mastery and mastering ones emotions.
The ceremony was Magickal as we used crystal and 24ct. Gold singing bowls, toning with their beautiful resonance, and two beautiful drums that Irby (the father of my God Child, Sofia) brought to accompany them. The floor around us was lit up with all of Auracle’s Colours sending frequencies of Love into our souls. Everyone chose their colours learning of their meanings and messages, as well as a card from the Ascended Master deck. Both the colours and the cards were aligned with similar messages, and that was only one aspect of the Magick. Using the Violet and Yellow Bottles, the sacred geometry continued to fill the air and we all felt shifts going on in our bodies, minds and souls, as well as feeling a connection and a greater awareness to each other simultaneously. It was a beautifully Magickal and majestic experience, and I wish to thank everyone who participated last night. You’re energies were all gorgeous, masterful and sacred. |
 The Amethyst Crystal is also known as the “Seekers Stone” as it helps to access Divine consciousness as well as angelic realms, for those who “seek” what lies beyond the naked eye.
