Hello Beloveds and welcome to December, the month of family gatherings to celebrate the holidays. I know this edition is much later than unusual, but we all know December is the craziest month of all due to all the holidays!

And speaking of holidays, we know they can be a very stressful time especially when so many are worried about returning home to possible “judgment” from family members. During this time of year I often notice people wearing more Indigo, Magenta and Black since they are messages of needing to be “cloaked”, calling protection into one’s energy field although it is mostly done unconsciously.

Indigo represents transition, as well as family matters whether they are issues presently being dealt with or those which need to be acknowledged so they can be dealt with.

Indigo is also about the unconscious, the “inner vision” manifested and seen through the Third Eye or 6th Chakra. This is where the term “Sixth Sense” comes from. It is where we take a lone (alone) journey inside, going within, having dialogue with our innermost being to “see” our life’s path and what lies ahead. Indigo in essence, is the colour of Soul Retrieval. If we don’t want to see it, the journey or vision, this is what becomes the “shadow”. When we avoid (a void – Black/Indigo) what we must do to move forward, by universal law it WILL catch up with us, and will bring us to our knees.

Isn’t that interesting? Bring us to our knees. How have people in most cultures been depicted when praying? On their knees. This shows us that we must have “faith” with what comes forth into our vision, listen to it, and let it guide us. We don’t ever need to bring any situation to a point where we are being brought to our knees in the negative sense. It is only by choice that we bring upon ourselves that which becomes catastrophic in our lives. It is entirely about ego, and the ego (our WILL), will always drag us down into places where our spirit cannot soar. Our WILL, will never win. Thy WILL be done. It is truly as simple as that.

Red, being the smallest fraction of what makes up the colour of Indigo, can represent one of two things. The first is the “awakening” of the vision/transition being shown to each person. If this vision is responded to without resistance and with Loving resonance, the journey will be much smoother, flowing beautifully. The other scenario is that the Red represents trying to “control” things that are really, out of one’s control. Control after all is an illusion. This leads to the feeling of victimization and blaming of others for whatever chaotic issues arise and continue to plague one’s life.

The beautiful nature of Indigo is that it is where dreams and symbols are sent to us by our guides to help us on our paths. In our dream state is where the ego dissolves and our souls can soar into the heavens with all possibilities present for us to explore. It is the mystic, the shaman, the seer, the Oracle, all of whom use their gifts of clairvoyance (to see), clairaudience (to hear), clairsentience (to feel). We are star children after all, and as such we have these abilities, yet spiritual discipline is required to use them in order to “see through” situations.

Should we bring forth our divinely born gifts which include Wisdom (Gold, being the opposite and healing frequency to Indigo), we can align with our higher powers within, thus allowing ourselves to make higher choices as we move through life. Experience IS wisdom. As per the contracts we’ve made with our dyadic (soul group) family members, we choose certain lessons to help us gain the wisdom necessary to help us further on our path of Love.

The element of Indigo is “lightning”. I’m sure most of you have heard of two people meeting and instantly they experience “lightning” shooting out from their Third Eyes between each other. This is the recognition of one soul to the other. These are souls traveling together to continue the ascension process, helping each other to move into higher states of consciousness through various journeys, whatever and wherever they may be.

So how does the Black (last month’s colour) weave into the Indigo? If you remember, Black acts as a container to hold our ashes as we literally burn down to the ground. It is “nothingness and all-one-ness” at the same time. Anubis takes us into the chambers of our Hearts to re-examine how we’ve been living and where we need to shift to get back on track. He takes us “6” feet under, if you will, to explore the darkest parts of ourselves. Here’s another interesting one, Black takes us “6” feet under, Indigo is the Sixth Sense. As Above, So Below. I will explain this in a bit.

Black holds a safe space for us to just “be” without being hit with the energies of others, and without having to experience judgment. It is solid, it is the tomb where the soul can re-align, where we can feel acceptance of things happening within us, around us and in us, and mostly it is the dissolving of the ego structure so that the higher will can come through. When the higher will emerges, it connects us with the essence of pure Love, and the “Light” we are made of. Black then brings us into a safe space (nothingness/all-one-ness) to go through a necessary metamorphosis. It is the deepest place we can venture BELOW.

The Indigo is the exact opposite in its location - ABOVE. Indigo is outer (space) and inner (Third eye) space. It is not a container at all, but as expansive as the universe itself. Isis, Divine Mother Goddess is one of the key archetypal energies in this realm of mystery and magick. She shows up and engages her energy when transition, family issues or dyadic (soul group) relationships are present.

An example of this would be - many years ago one of my friends I hadn’t seen in a long time saw the colours and immediately chose the Indigo. She had also been wearing Blue, which told me she was depressed as I combined her clothing with her choice of colour in that moment. I asked her if there was a significant shift within her family unit. What she told me truly shows the consciousness of each colour we choose. The weekend before I saw her she told me her brother died. They had just held a funeral for him 3 days prior. There it was, the “transition”, the “family”, the depression.

Indigo also represents the leader. A symbolic example would be King David, leader of the Jews. Other symbolic energies that come from the Indigo ray are The Unicorn and the Magick of the awakened Third Eye, Isis as was mentioned above being the Egyptian Mother Goddess, Nut the Egyptian Goddess of the night sky symbolizing deep wisdom (Gold), and the image of the Magician.

When in harmony with the Indigo ray, it brings us possibilities of finding emotional and intellectual balance, inner vision (therefore leadership within our own lives as well as with others) and most beautifully, Self-Realization.

If we are not in harmony with the Indigo frequency we tend to be too much in the head over-intellectualizing, feel isolated, depressed, resistant to things as they are, judgmental of ourselves and others, arrogant, opinionated, afraid of success, and are often avoiding the “dark night of the soul” aka “the shadow”, that which nobody wants to look at.

Some illnesses of the Indigo are psychic exhaustion, hormonal imbalance, mental illness, neurological disturbances, blindness, deafness, and learning disabilities.

We must learn to “see” without fear or judgment through the veil, honouring and respecting our gifts of intuition. Even though we die, the spirit lives on and is immortal…and the story continues.

The Indigo ray is our connection into the abyss from which we came, as vast and expansive as all possibilities we carry inside to bring our mystical and magickal energies forth. It is our alignment with God/Goddess energies within. Through meditation we can create our own container of “safety”, enough to see clearly what lies ahead, and to hear our orders issued from above. As we become more illuminated through the discipline of meditation, life takes on a “synchronicity” and we seem to be in the right place at the right time more often than not. Omens come quickly, and people who have the same consciousness appear in our lives, or we appear in theirs. One thing is for sure…it’s pure Magick.

Indigo is our journey into the darkness to manifest our light. It gives us the ability to carve a spiritual diamond out of ourselves from the carbon based physical matter we were born into as humans. Should we create this balance through the alchemical stages of our lives, then we will fulfill our Blueprint. However, it is a journey we must take alone.

In a wonderful book you won’t be able to put down called “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, he speaks of this journey. It is about a boy seeking his “Personal Legend” or his “treasure” (Gold). Along his journey he continues to hear the phrase by those sent to him by his guide, “When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream”.

There is the Indigo: Inspiration to find the dream, self-realization, synchronicity. Also we see the Gold: Wisdom attained through the experiences of the journey, the alchemy of shifting energies, fluids and internal thoughts of the boy as he discovers magickal omens, courage to move through his fears, discovering self-esteem, self-respect and self-Love as he begins to “realize” himself, to be in the moment and not “judge” what comes forth, but instead to “know” it is truth, and through all of it he shall find his beloved treasure. We all know treasure is Gold. Could the treasure then be his “Heart of Gold”? Read the book and find out.

The “light” is calling you forth Beloveds. Will you engage and call upon the stars to reflect back your inner most beauty? Will you seek out your personal legend? Aah, I hope so, because it is a Magickal experience, and one which will change the rest of your lives.

I experience what is called Synesthesia, specifically Grapheme, or Colour Synesthesia. This means that I perceive letters and numbers in colour. (The word synesthesia means "to perceive together" in Greek). I can remember when I was learning to spell, I spelled the word through remembering the colours of each letter only, and not the letter itself. I used to talk to my family about this, but they thought I was just highly imaginative, which I am, but I wasn't making it up... I remember my dad asking me (jokingly) a few days in a row "What color is "B" today?" to which I'd reply, "Green, of course, like everyday."

It was then I began to suspect that not everybody knew what I meant. My openness about my associative processes landed me in psychological evaluation at five years old, which wasn't so bad, except that I could not, for the life of me figure out why this "smart" doctor kept asking me the dumbest questions! I'm not impaired, I just perceive information a little differently than most.

These sorts of sensory associative "gifts" were not recognized as such in the early 80's. It appears that Synesthesia is the brain's association of information through more than one channel. Perhaps the right and left brain function simultaneously instead of individually. Some synesthetes can smell sounds, or taste words, and they almost never agree about their colours or perceptions. In other words, there's no "rhyme or reason", the associations are highly individual. It usually doesn't hinder daily life in any way, but can actually improve memory because there is a wider variety of sensory mechanisms available for recalling an experience.

Many Indigo children and adults are synesthetes. There has been a dramatic rise in the research of this phenomenon over the past few years, as more and more Indigo children are being born. The application of true involuntary associations like those experienced by synesthets may mean that the human experience in general is becoming increasingly more aware and perceptive. Extrasensory perceptions can be learned and practiced, like a muscle that we develop through diligence. We are living in a time of intense expansion and mystic potential, which will fuel the fire of creation and manifestation in whichever direction we choose.

Here's the rub... you Must Choose. Indigo teaches us that we must be interactive with our creations in life. Indigo is Blue (spirit, expansiveness) with a touch of Red (action!). We know that what we give out is what we get back. As Above, So Below. It's here within the Indigo ray that we learn what responsibility for one's own life really means.

Indigo in dysfunction = depression (the Blues) and the feeling of being a victim (Red). The way out of that whole mess is to remember that you are the ultimate creator of your life's experience. Affirm your truest dreams and desires often. Meditate on your own inner vision, and celebrate the unique way that you interpret the world around you. The Indigo generation arrives Now to help expand the minds and Hearts of all beings. Within the Indigo frequency, we find absolute potential. Anything can be created, it's just a matter of perception! :)

Funny enough I have two tips this month:

The first is to wait until the next Full Moon, take a “glass” bottle of water and put it under the Moon with the Indigo Bottle facing into the bottle. Use a flashlight behind the Indigo Bottle to intensify the frequencies going into the water, and leave overnight. By drinking the Full Moon/Indigo charged water, all cells in the body will be charged with lightning as well as bringing in the feeling of safety as if floating in the womb. You may also experience a feeling of intensity as well as needing to go internal on a journey of silence and meditation. Emotions may also arise as the Indigo and the Moon stir up deep unconscious energies needing to be brought up and released. Remember this is the realm of Isis, and she nurtures those who call upon her. The abyss is her womb, and the stars her milk, bringing nourishment to all.

The second tip is to assist you in creation and “Inspiration”. Lay down with the Indigo Bottle, probably the Sun/Moon since it’s smaller, and place it on your Third Eye. You may experience pressure for the first few minutes as your guides are coming in to re-adjust the codes and frequencies presently there. You might even fall asleep during the process as it is again, taking you into the abyss so you will have a sensation of floating. Stay in this meditative state for at least 20-30 minutes, or however long you feel you wish to. Ask your Heart what it truly needs for it to be happy, and see what it requires. When finished meditating, go out and create a Vision Board, for whatever you put on it will come true as it is YOUR truth and therefore co-created with your guides and the universal mind.

Remember, the universal “light” only knows to amplify what we touch it with, so if we touch it with a beautiful vision filled with people and places we choose to be with and in, the synchronicity which moves through the Indigo ray will put you in touch with all of it simultaneously, for it is our “Personal Legend”.

Isis Rising:

Isis is known as the goddess, from whom all beginnings arose. She is the embodiment of feminine power and creative force. Isis is a revered goddess in Ancient Egyptian beliefs and is celebrated in their mythology as the ideal mother and wife, patron of nature and magic; friend of slaves, sinners, artisans, the downtrodden, kings and Queens. She is the one who listens to all prayers.

The Great Goddess ISIS came to life within my heart and mind in 2004. In 2006 I took the time to honour the love I hold for her with this painting. It was through her gentle prompting that I made a journey to Egypt in 2007 and spent time in the Temple of Isis at Philae.
